Woman Who Climbed Into Bronx Zoo Lion’s Den Busted by NYPD
The Bronx Zoo “Lion Queen” who jumped into two animal enclosures at the zoo in September was arrested by the NYPD on Wednesday.
Myah Autry was arrested by cops near the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
She was taken to the 52nd precinct, which covers the northern Bronx, and slapped with a criminal trespass charge for the stunt.
Police were able to identify Autry after her wild zoo stunt when she posted photos and videos of herself inside the animal enclosures — including the lion’s den at the zoo.
She had been wanted for criminal trespass before her arrest Wednesday.
In videos posted to her Instagram account after her stunt, Autry taunted the NYPD and performed wild, profanity-laced raps.
In one of her nearly hour-long rants, she drank green juice from a wine glass and blasted R&B music while wearing a Medieval-style white hooded get-up.
