The United States Postal Service is celebrating hip hop its first series dedicated to the global culture.
On July 1, a pane of 20 Forever stamps will officially go on sale.
The stamp art features photographs taken by Cade Martin depictingfour elements of hip hop suchas MCing (rapping), B-boying (break dancing), DJing and graffiti art.
Digitally tinted, the vivid yellow, green, red, and black colored images are intended to appear in motion.
The stamps have the words “Forever” and “USA,” “Hip Hop,” and the name of the element featured across the top of each one.
Since 1847, the Postal Service stamp program has celebrated the people, events and cultural milestones unique to the history of the United States. It saidhip hop is being recognized for profoundly influencing American and global popular culture since its inception more than four decades ago.

A sheet of 20 are in sale for $11 and can be purchased at post office locations and online through the USPS official website.
