Tom Brady Announces Retirement On Social Media

It’s Official! Tom Brady retiring from the NFL. Brady, 44, announced that he would be retiring from the league via Instagram on Tuesday.

"This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore," he said. "I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention."

Brady, 44, is now considered one of the greatest players in NFL history: No quarterback has thrown for more touchdowns, more yards or won more playoff games.
