The Oldest Person In America Hester Ford Has Died At Age 116

The oldest person in the US has died at the age of 116.

Hester Ford from Charlotte died on Saturday peacefully at home surrounded by family.

Born in 1904 in South Carolina, Ford grew up working on a farm, planting and picking cotton and plowing the fields.

She had 12 children, 48 grandchildren and 108 great-grandchildren.
