The Obamas' Family Dog Bo Dies After Battle With Cancer

Former President Barack Obama announced on Twitter Saturday that Bo, the family dog who lived with the Obamas while in the White House, passed away.

"Today our family lost a true friend and loyal companion. For more than a decade, Bo was a constant, gentle presence in our lives—happy to see us on our good days, our bad days, and every day in between," Obama wrote on Twitter, along with a photo of him running alongside the Portuguese water dog.
