Tessica Brown "Gorilla Glue Girl" Says Her $23G GoFundMe Was Under Investigation

Tessica Brown has become internet famous over the past 2 weeks after spraying Gorilla Glue Adhesive in her hair, instead of hairspray. Over that time, she has received over $23,000 in donations through GoFundMe.

The Louisiana woman claims she cannot access the $23,000 raised on her behalf because it’s being investigated by the crowdfunding site for allegations of fraud.

Brown originally created the fundraiser to help pay medical bills, but now she now plans to donate the bulk of the money to the Restore Foundation, a nonprofit which provides plastic and reconstructive surgery to those in need.

UPDATE: A spokesperson for GoFundMe said that the company has been in touch with Brown, and the funds are on the way.
