Salt-N-Pepa’s DJ Spinderella is suing the group for her share of the millions that the band has earned over the years.
DJ Spinderella filed a lawsuit claiming that it all started with their "Best of" album that was released in 1999 and that she was promised one third of the royalties for the record, which would be around $125,000,and she never got it.
She also claims she was supposed to get one third of the group’s fee for a show they did on VH1 and got nothing for their performance at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards.
The biggest shock was when she claims she found out that over the past decade, the other band members were paid more than $600,000 in royalties and she didn't get anything.
DJ Spinderella is suing Salt-N-Pepa for trademark infringement.
