R. Kelly Found Guilty On All Counts, Faces Life in Prison

R&B Singer R. Kelly was convicted yesterdayin his sex trafficking trial.
The jury found Kelly guilty on all counts, which included sexual exploitation of a child, bribery, kidnapping, racketeering, and sex trafficking.
He faces 10 years to life in prison.
Kelly has already been in jail since 2019. His trial started on August 18.

His accusers said they were under orders to call him "Daddy," expected to jump and kiss him anytime he walked into a room, ordered to sign nondisclosure forms, and were subjected to threats and punishments such as violent spankings.
Some of the other troubling accusations: Kelly was accused of giving several victims herpes without disclosing he had an STD, coercing a teen boy to join him for sex with a naked girl, and shooting a shaming video of one alleged victim showing her smearing feces on her face as punishment for breaking his rules.
Kelly has also pleaded not guilty to sex-related charges in Illinois and Minnesota. Trial dates in those cases have yet to be set.
