More Than $4M Was Raised For The Wrong Black Lives Matter Organization

More than $4 million was raised for the wrong Black Lives Matter organization.

Companies including Apple, Google and Microsoft have reportedly raised more than $4 million for theBlack Lives Matter Foundation which is a registered nonprofit that is different to the Black Lives Matter Global Network.

A spokesperson said the Black Lives Matter Foundation is indeed a completely separate organization with no affiliation with Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation.

The spokesperson added they have been using their name improperly and are under in order from the California Attorney General’s office to cease and desist from fundraising.
