More Than 100K Americans Are Hospitalized With COVID For The First Time Since January

More than 100,000 Americans are currently hospitalized with COVID.

Data from the Department of Health and Human Services shows that 101,050 hospital beds are occupied by people receiving treatment for the virus.

That’s a 147% increase from four-weeks ago and the first time the number has been that high since late January.

There are so many COVID patients in hospitals that doctors say they've had to turn away people because they don't have enough beds to treat both virus patients and those seeking care for unrelated issues.
