Meet The First Nigerian Pilot For Qatar Airways

Adeola Sowemimo became the first Nigerian female pilot to fly with Qatar Airways and the first to fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner Aircraft.

The Nigerian trailblazer emerged in the aviation industry to become the First Nigerian Female Pilot at Qatar Airways likewise the First Nigerian Female Pilot on the Gigantic Boeing 787 Dreamliner Aircraft. She is also the First Nigerian Female Pilot to fly the Boeing 767 Aircraft across the Atlantic.

Captain Adeola has joined the ranks of female pilots in Africa, an elite group of only five. Adeola is an eccentric role model for young females with a dream of entering the aviation business. She previously worked as a member of the Nigerian Air Force trained explicitly by the United States to fight Boko Haram, the Islamist terrorist group. Most importantly Adeola want girls to know that sexism in the aviation industry is on the decline.
