Magic Johnson Is Part Of The $6B Bid On NFL’s Washington Commanders
Looks like Magic Johnson wants the Washington Commanders.
According to ESPN, The Josh Harris/Mitchell Rales group, which now includes Magic Johnson, officially submitted a fully financed bid for the Washington Commanders that meets Dan Snyder's $6 billion asking price.
Harris is the cofounder of Apollo Global Management, also owns the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers and is a co-owner of the NHL’s New Jersey Devils, while Johnson is a minority owner of the MLB’s Los Angeles Dodgers.
Canadian billionaire Steve Apostolopoulos also has submitted a fully funded $6 billion offer for the Commanders.
Both parties are trying to secure ownership of the Commanders from its current owners Dan and Tanya Snyder.
