Leon Spinks Reportedly Hospitalized As Wife Asks For Prayers On Social Media

Former boxing champ Leon Spinks has been hospitalized in Las Vegas and his wife is now asking for prayers on social media.  

The 66-year-old Spinks was apparently fighting for his life in the hospital but it’s unclear what the health issue is.  

His wife Brenda took to Facebook and wrote “…you know how I Believe in the Power of Prayer. It's been a tough year for us. Leon has endured a lot of medical problems. I'm reaching out to ask you to kindly pray for my Beautiful Husband Leon.”

The former undisputed heavyweight boxing champion defeated Muhammad Ali in 1978 in one of the biggest upsets in the sport’s history.
