Writer: Ed GainesEd Gaines

The Los Angeles Rams reworked the contract of defensive tackle Aaron Donald, making him the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL.

The last three years of Donald’s contract will now pay him $95 million, making him the first player outside of quarterbacks to average $30 million a year. The new deal includes $65 million in guaranteed money and also has a no-trade clause.

Donald won his first Super Bowl this past season with the Rams.
