Keyshia Cole's biological mother Frankie Lons died on her 61st birthday.

The singer’s sister Elite Noel confirmed that her mother had died on her birthday of an overdose at her home in Oakland after suffering from drug addiction for years.

Lons was Cole's biological mother. Cole was adopted by family friends Leon and Yvonne Cole at 2-years-old.
