Karl-Anthony Towns' Mother Dies Of Coronavirus Complications

The mother of Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns has died due to complications from the coronavirus. The 58-year-old Jacqueline Cruz-Towns died after being put in a medically induced coma in March.   The All-Star center posted an emotional video to his Instagram page on March 25th, revealing that his mother was put in the coma and had been placed on a ventilator due to the virus.
