Janet Jackson's 'Scream' Music Video Outfit Sells for $125k at Auction (Video)

The outfit Janet Jackson wore in her 1995 "Scream" music video sold for $125k at auction.

It was part of Julien's Auctions event, "Iconic Treasures From the legendary Career and Life of Janet Jackson." She turned over 1,000 items from her life to Julien's, and it coincided with her 55th birthday.

Compassion International, an organization that fights child poverty, will get a cut of the action.

Other items that brought in a lot of money, like her floor-length metallic silver coat with lambskin shearling lining, cuffs and collar which sold for $50,000. There was also her silver string bikini and matching pants which sold for $25,600.

Her jacket from the 1990 Rhythm Nation Tour and 1814 cap and black satin gloves went for $81,250.

Kim Kardashian is one of the lucky few who've snagged some Janet-worn gear. Kim revealed that she'd been selected as the winner for the outfit Janet wore in her music video for “If,” which features a black crop top and matching pants. It went for $25,000.

She wrote, "For Janet Jackson's bday bc I'm such a fan I can't believe I won this outfit on @juliens_auctions."

Janet responded, "I hope 'IF' gives you as much pleasure as it did me."
