Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson Now Faces 16 Civil Lawsuits

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson is now facing 16 lawsuits alleging inappropriate conduct and sexual assault.

Many of the women were massage therapists who alleged Watson hired them and then touched them with his penis or coerced them into performing other sexual acts.

One woman who filed a lawsuit earlier this week described Watson as a "serial predator."

Watson's attorney released a statement yesterday (Tuesday) saying "any allegation that Deshaun forced a woman to commit a sexual act is completely false."

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson did have sexual encounters with “some” of the women accusing him of sexual assault.

Sources spoke on condition of anonymity and insist the sexual encounters were “completely consensual.”

They also said Watson had “non-sexual encounters” with some of the other accusers, where he was simply given a massage and there was no sexual contact.

The attorney for Deshaun Watson says at least one of the women who has accused the Houston Texans quarterback of assault attempted to blackmail him earlier this year.

The lawyer said that the unidentified woman in one of the cases attempted to blackmail Watson after a consensual encounter in December.

He says that he has a declaration in which Watson’s manager claims the woman wanted $30,000 in exchange for her “indefinite silence.”
