The Environmental Protection Agency has approved two surface disinfectants tested on the coronavirus for the first time ever.
The agency said it approved Lysol Disinfectant Spray and Lysol Disinfectant Max Cover Mist based on laboratory testing that shows the products are effective against the coronavirus.
Currently the EPA has a list of more than 420 products that are strong enough to fight off the virus, but the two Lysol products are the first to be directly tested on the virus and proven effective.
