Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts signed an extension with the NFL team worth $255 million last month. This will keep him in Philadelphia through at least the 2028 season.
He added another accomplishment to the list: He received his master’s degree from Oklahoma. Hurts walked in the University of Oklahoma’s commencement ceremony at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, where he received a master’s degree in human relations.
Hurts completed his degree requirements during his three seasons in the NFL.
Hurts earned a bachelor’s degree in communication and information sciences from the University of Alabama, where he played college football.
The Eagles open the season Sept. 10 on the road against the team they beat to win Super Bowl LII, the New England Patriots.
