The lawyer for Derek Chauvin has filed a motion for a new trial on multiple grounds … just two weeks after he was found guilty of murdering George Floyd.
The grounds include allegations of errors made by the judge, prosecutorial misconduct, witness intimidation, and the impact of publicity.
The filing comes just one day it emerged that a juror attended a Black Lives Matter rally last summer where George Floyd's relatives addressed the crowd, despite telling the court he'd never been at a protest.
