The Dallas Cowboys signed Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott to a record contract.
The four-year deal is worth $160 million including $126 million guaranteed. Prescott's signing bonus is $66 million which is the highest in NFL history and a record $75 million is due in the first season.
Prescott is coming off a compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle suffered in the Week 5 win against the New York Giants in October.
He played last season under the franchise tag because the two sides couldn’t agree to a long-term contract before the season.
