Covid Kills More Than 1 American Every Minute. Death Toll Tops 300,000

The number of deaths in the US from the coronavirus topped the 300,000 mark yesterday (Monday).  

The first death from the virus in the country was on February 6th. With now over 300,000 deaths… that's an average of more than 961 deaths a day.

And in the past week, an average of 2,403 people in the US have died from Covid-19 every day. That's an average of one Covid-19 death every 40-seconds.
