A councilwoman in South Carolina spent $27,000 of government money on a personal spending spree that included a bizarre trip to Newark to find Magic Johnson.
The 52-year-old Richland County Council Vice Chairwoman, Dahli Myers also used the money on Godiva chocolates, a trip to Greece and even on a guide to the video game Fortnite.
She was indicted on 24 counts of public corruption for using a public credit card to pay for the personal expenses.
