Comedian Jay Pharoah Was Stopped By LAPD, Cop With Knee On His Neck

Jay Pharoah is sharing details of a recent encounter he had with police while exercising in Los Angeles.

The former “Saturday Night Live” star took to Instagram to reveal he was stopped by police while running along the street… and he shared security footage of the encounter.

The footage shows a police car pull up to the sidewalk, followed by four officers with guns drawn approaching the comedian, who is on the ground.

Pharoah said, "Four officers got their guns blazing, they tell me to get on the ground, spread my arms out, they put me in cuffs, the officer took his knee, put it on my neck.It wasn't as long as George Floyd, but I know how that feels.”
