Cardi B's Request To Trademark The Phrase" Okurrr" Is DENIED

Cardi B’s request to trademark her phrase “Okurrr” was denied.

The rapper applied to trademark the phrase for merchandising purposes three months ago. 

The U.S. Patent and Trademark said they denied her request because the phrase was widely used. 

The Kardashians have been using the phrase since 2017 and many of Cardi’s fans filed trademark applications before the rapper did.
