Bus Driver Rescues Toddler Sitting Alone In Field

Nick a bus driver in St. Louis rescued a toddler sitting alone in a field.

The man was driving along his route when he spotted a toddler sitting in alone in a field near a gated subdivision.

"He asked the boy if he wanted to ride with him and the child smiled," a spokesperson from Metro wrote

He wrapped his coat around the boy before alerting the company's dispatch team who called the cops.

He gave the boy some water and food while he waited for police to arrive.

He is being honored for his heroic actions.
