The Notorious B.I.G. will be inducted to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for the the Class of 2020.

In an interview, Biggie’s mom, Voletta Wallace said, “Today, I'm feeling great. As a mother, I'm extremely proud of his accomplishments. You know, I still see such a young man at a young age, and sadly, he's not here to witness all this. But it's an astute honor, and as a mother, I'm just elated for that.”

Biggie will be honored in May and the class of 2020 includes Nine Inch Nails, Whitney Houston, Depeche Mode, The Doobie Brothers and T. Rex.

Biggie’s mom says her son’s inclusion, especially as a rapper, speaks volumes to his legacy and irrefutable candor as an MC.

Biggie will be the 7th rapper to be inducted into the Rock Hall, following Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, Run-DMC, the Beastie Boys, Public Enemy, N.W.A and Tupac Shakur.
