The iconic crown worn by the Notorious B.I.G. and love letters written by Tupac Shakur are among the items up for sale at the first major hip-hop auction to be held next month in New York.
Fans of Biggie will get the chance to own the crown which was worn and signed by the rapper during a 1997 photoshoot, only three days before he was killed in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles.
Auction house Sotheby’s is expecting it to sell for between $200-300,000 at the event.
Fans of Tupac will get the chance to bid on an archive of 22 autographed love letters written by the rap icon to a high school sweetheartwhen he was a teenager. The letters are estimated to sell for between $60,000-80,000.
