Anonymous Customer Leaves $9,400 Tip For Restaurant Staff

An anonymous customer left a $9,400 tip to the staff of a Houston restaurant.  The tip was left just hours after bars and nightclubs in the area were ordered to shut down due to the spread of the Coronavirus. The customer wrote on the receipt, “Hold tip to pay your guys over the next few weeks.” The restaurant staff will split the tip with each employee receiving $300.
