Al Roker Returning to the 'Today' Show on Friday Jan. 6

Al Roker will return with his TODAY co-hosts after being off the air due to medical issues since mid-November.

Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin announced  that Roker would be coming back to work on Friday Jan. 6

“We have some great news to share this morning," Gutherie said. "Al is coming back to the show."

Al Roker will be back on the Today show Friday for his first in-studio appearance in two months since he was hospitalized for blood clots in his leg and lungs.
