8 Dead Including Gunman, After Shooting at FedEx Facility in Indianapolis
At least eight dead and multiple others wounded after a mass shooting late Thursday at a FedEx facility located near the Indianapolis International Airport.
The gunman fatally shot himself.
Police told reporters early on today that among the wounded, at least four were hospitalized including one person with critical injuries. Two others were treated at the scene and released.
No law enforcement officers were injured.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) received reports of shots fired and an active shooter around 11:10 p.m. at a FedEx facility.
A man who works at the facility described that he saw a man “with a submachine gun of some sort, an automatic rifle, and he was firing in the open.”
