50 Cent Series ‘Black Mafia Family’ Moves Forward at Starz

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is executive producing “Black Mafia Family,” a drama which is being developed at Starz. “Black Mafia Family” will add to Jackson’s expanding family of series at Starz, which includes the original “Power,” as well as four upcoming spinoffs set in the same universe, namely “Power Book II: Ghost,” “Power Book III: Raising Kanan,” “Power Book IV: Influence” and “Power Book V: Force.” “Black Mafia Family” is inspired by the true story of two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980’s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in this country. The duo to take their vision beyond the drug trade and into the world of Hip Hop.
