Two Los Angeles County firefighters who took photos of victims’ remains at the scene of Kobe Bryant’s helicopter crash last year are being fired.

The two firefighters were sent "intention to discharge" letters in December after an internal investigation concluded they had taken photos of the dead bodies in the helicopter wreckage that "served no business necessity."

A third firefighter was said to be a media relations officer was being suspended due to the incident.

The disciplinary action recently came to light after widow Vanessa Bryant filed a lawsuit claiming multiple sheriff’s deputies snapped or shared similar photos of the tragedy.
