This Rolls-Royce May Be the Most Expensive New Car in History

Rolls-Royce's new Boat Tail may easily be the most expensive new car to date.

The car is named after the tapered rear end, a style which dates back to the 1920s.

The new Rolls-Royce Boat Tail measures 19 feet in length and runs on a massive 6.75-liter V-12 engine.

The Boat Tail is a four-seat convertible with an emergency tonneau, just in case the weather gets bad. The car also comes with a detachable carbon-fiber roof that turns the Rolls into a coupe.

Rolls has been tight-lipped about the price, but this car is more decked out than the 2017 Sweptail, which went for $13 million.

FYI… The title of the most expensive vehicle goes to Bugatti’s La Voiture Noire, which sold for a reported $18.7 million after taxes.
