Ex-Fugees Member Pras Michel Arrested For Lack of Child Support Payment Proof

Ex-Fugees member Prakazrel “Pras” Michel was arrested in Manhattan court Monday after he was unable to prove he made a court-ordered child support payment. The 47-year-old musician’s ex-girlfriend, Angela Severiano, says he owes over $125,000 in child support for their 9-year-old son, Landon. Pras did not deny the claim during a court hearing Jan. 31 and admitted he had only paid $2,000 at the time. At the last court hearing, he was ordered by a Manhattan Family Court Judge to make a $20,000 payment toward what he owes and to bring proof of the payment. Pras came to court with a tracking number that he said proved a friend mailed a check on his behalf. But the tracking number didn’t work, so thejudge ordered Pras to be cuffed and held on $5,000 pending a court hearing in a week. The judge had three court officers take Michel into custody.
At least she is in school. So congrats on doing all you’re doing AND maintaining good grades. It’s obvious that people don’t realize that in order to have a 2.7 you HAVE to have mostly good grades. It’s obvious that those commenting negatively have not gone to college.
