Boy Found A Surprise Under The Mat Of His Family's Car… $5,000

A 9-year-old boy Landon Melvin found $5,000 in cash under the mat of his family’s car.

The boy was cleaning the car when he looked under the floorboard and found a package that contained the money. The family purchased the used Chevy Suburban in September.

Turns out the money belonged to a family in South Carolina who placed the money under the mat when they took a vacation but forgot about it.

That family said they would only accept the money if the boy received $1,000 for his good deed.

The boy says he has no idea what he’s going to do with the money but he’s thinking of things he can buy.
