Artist Lili Bernard Sues Bill Cosby Over 1990 Hotel Encounter

A Bill Cosby accuser has filed a lawsuit against the actor over a hotel room encounter in Atlantic City, New Jersey back in 1990.

Artist Lili Bernard says Cosby drugged and raped her in a hotel room after promising to mentor her on his top-ranked TV show. She was 26 at the time.

She said the lawsuit was prompted in part by Cosby’s recent release from prison. He had served more than two years of a potential 10-year sentence.
